From Workbasket magazine, November 1952, which we’re slowly making our way through.  The pattern is on my Flickr account.

My grandmother loved this pattern for my dad. She must have made 6 or 7 in various colors.

It's definitely a classic.

I don't suppose you have any photos to share?

I'll have to look through some boxes. Let you know next week as I am opening "The Addams Family" at the H.S. (I'm the Costume Designer).

That must be fun. Did you have to get a wig for Morticia?

We dyed her and added extensions that clip on. Fester was the fun one - fat suit, bald cap, make-up! And all the dancing Ancestors of different time periods. Like Caveman, Cleopatra to Flapper.

I wish I could be there for the H.S. show. It sounds like a lot of fun - and a lot of work for the costumer.

The costumer had a blast! When do we ever get a chorus that does not have to look extactly the same?????

I can see where that could get boring.
