Regional staff held a press conference at a local firehouse today, to mark the kick-off of the Sound The Alarm campaign. Volunteers were asked to vest up and attend; I was in several photographs taken with firefighters and our State Senator.
It wasn't until I was on my way home that it dawned on me I had my t-shirt on backwards.

What??? No one thought to tell you?
Just like what I used to tell the kids: don't be self conscious as everyone else is so concerned about how they look, that no one is looking at you.
I bet no one even noticed.
To be fair -- with the vest on, it would have been hard to tell. Fortunately the tag was not sticking out.
Fantastic! I bet they never even noticed, of if they did they simply thought it was a new fashion thing :)
Just claim it's a new, avant-garde, fashion.
(Bunny, I left you a message on the 14th's post.)
(Ah, Lady Anne: What a clever grandmother you are to explain and teach her rather than just avoid the subject and move on as a lot of people would have.)
My mother used to tell me never to explain or apologize for what I was wearing back in the day of Mary Quant and Twiggy because as long as I was clean, neat and covered it was nobody's business. I wasn't exactly a crazy dresser, but our community was stodgy. Just smile when they ask and look mystified by their asking.
