Workbasket Magazine - February, 1946

The February, 1946 issue of Workbasket magazine, with only three projects this month - a rather tricky-looking crocheted pillowcase trim, a tatted medallion, and a pair of knitted soakers for baby.

These last touted as being superior to rubber pants to go over diapers, but I imagine that, even though the war is over, rubber consumer goods are still in short supply.  There are four double pages to print off back to back and staple together from my Flickr account.

My grandmother had several pair of pillowcases similar to those. Hers were finished off as "colonial" ladies, rather than fans.

Going to try the medallion.
