Happiness is a butterfly. It will come to you, but you can't capture it.
My mother always said she never promised our happiness. That was our job. Hers was to raise us and not kill us in the process.
And...Possessions =/= happiness.
My priorities are 'safe and secure', then happy. Being bored and/or unhappy for a while gives time to reflect and learn something.
