My sister had a cat when her son was still at the creepy-crawly stage - not quite crawling. Karl would wiggle over to the cat's bowl and eat the kibble. Lynn absolutely refused to put the dish up someplace - even on a chair - but carried on a fit when Karl ate cat food. He'd pull himself up to a sitting position and feed the cat while he fed himself. One for you and one for me. He's the only person I know who can actually speak "cat". And no, his ears didn't grow out in points.
