To make and enjoy during these last few weeks of summer, from Crafts for Everyone, by Louis V. Newkirk; a waterproof beach bag to sew from Koroseal, alas no longer available. Oilcloth or a recycled shower curtain would work, though.
Newkirk was a highly prolific arts and craft author during and right after WWII. This book is available as a one-hour loan from the Open Library (free but you will need to open an account).
