I was born in '42 and my sister in '47. I made a lot of clothes for dolls like those!
I have e-reprints of three Enid Gilchrist (Google her, her books are marvelous) doll clothes books that have the base patterns for both of these doll sizes. Now I just have to bushwack a path to my sewing machine through all the junk that we've been storing in the sewing room.

Still have the baby doll dresses my grandmother made from these patterns.
