That was a brain not functioning and I'm not sure I made any sense up there? Maybe it should BE "I try not to remember". I'm gonna go for I give up and don't want to remember, my mom's favorite line the last year of her life. Although she did have dementia, lol. Revisionist history can be fun at times.
