As a rule, people who have pets do not need an alarmclock or a vacuum cleaner. Although I do need a vacuum to pick up the cat hair. Someday I'll knit myself a second cat.
Oh, there is a reason but we are not privy to it. As for knitting cat hair - felting is far easier!
