Patterns of the Past - For the Li'l Ones


These children's patterns were available by mail order from Modern Knitting and Needlecraft, 10th edition, 1950. The bunny booties are a hoot.

The bunny slippers are so cute. The pattern looks like it would be easy to draw up on your own. I wonder what type of fabric they suggested using.

I wonder if they recommended felt? Felt was a BIG item with crafters and sew-ists, back in that day.

My grandmother made me an apron just like the one in the picture, I still have it. Hand stitches and all, I'll cherish it forever.
