Hi - I'm blog stalking.
I love this! I don't knit, but it sure makes me want to learn.
I've noticed that some knitting pattern books still used the term "smart" at least into the 1960s. It sounds so grownup, somehow!
"Dainty" and "cunning" -- are two other overworked teens and 20's fashion terms!
